Major Announcement: Basically Cooking is featured as Lauren Conrad's Friday Favorite!

For those of you who don't know, I am a hugeeeee fan of Lauren Conrad! She is one of my fave #girlbosses out there and her success has been such an inspiration for me. I've watched her from the Laguna beach days, followed her on The Hills, bought her books, shopped her Kohl's line, live-streamed her first NY fashion week show and have been a die-hard reader of her lifestyle, food and wellness website: www.LaurenConrad.com! So imagine my delight (read: I FREAKED the eff out!), when I found out that Team LC wanted to feature me in one of Lauren's weekly blog posts: Friday Favorites!!! Friday Favorites is a weekly installment of Team LC's favorite things. Typically it will share plenty of pretty ensembles, yummy recipes, and a few surprises here and there, all inspired by Lauren’s classic feminine style that we all know and love. So I am beyond thrilled to announce that my Smores Honey Toast recipe that I published a few weeks ago was selected as Lauren's "Favorite Sweet Treat".

This has definitely been THE most exciting and rewarding opportunity since I've started my food blogging journey a mere three months ago and it just goes to show that if you do what you love and what you're passionate about the sky is the limit!
